Salvation Army Volunteer recognized with the Divine Servant Award

Sunday morning, June 11th, Salvation Army Volunteer Peggy Birkinbine was recognized for her significant impact in her community. 

"Peggy has been a soldier (church member) at the Boise Salvation Army her entire life. And for the entire 81 years of her life she as influenced countless officers, cadets, corps members, local politicians and business leaders. She has served her corps (church) in many capacities, including the past 10 years as Corps Sergeant Major.

During a recent Capital Campaign this Divine Servant to the lead among the soldiery of the corps setting the standard for support. Her influence in the community of Boise has her recognized as a “Distinguished Citizen.”"

We are grateful to Peggy for her love and support and proud of her for being recognized with this distinguished award.
